David DIPETRILLO
Head of Product, Governance, & Client Service, North America BNY Mellon Investment Management
David DiPetrillo is Head of North American Product, Governance, and Client Service at BNY Mellon Investment Management. He leads strategy, innovation, and governance for over $500B of assets spanning Active, Index, Alternative, and Cash/Liquidity strategies across Mutual Fund, ETF, Closed End, Bank Collective Trust, Separately Managed Account, and Model portfolio product lines. As a member of the Global Distribution Executive Leadership team, he helps set and execute the commercial agenda for an $700MM+ revenue business line within Investment Management, a $1.9T AUM top 10 global asset manager. Additionally, he serves as President of the BNY Mellon Family of Funds and BNY Mellon ETFs.
David joined BNY Mellon in 2005 in a Strategy & Planning role in Investment Services. Since moving to Investment Management in 2007, he has worked across a broad range of Distribution roles, including Head of U.S. Retail Product & Channel Marketing, Sales Manager for the RIA Channel, and Director of U.S. Retail Distribution Strategy. Prior to BNY Mellon, David worked at E*Trade as a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis supporting the U.S. Retail Brokerage business. He began his career as a strategy consultant at Dean & Company, where he advised senior executives at Fortune 500 clients on organic growth strategy, M&A, and business transformation initiatives.
David earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from Dartmouth College, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He is a CFA charterholder.
