Tatsuya Terazawa is a special adviser to Japan’s minister of economy, trade, and industry. Previously he was vice minister for international affairs, position in which he represented the ministry in international economic dialogues. He also traveled with the prime minister overseas to advise on industrial and energy policy. He played a major role in coordinating the communique for the G20 summit in Osaka, especially on trade and data issues.
