Mr. Toshimitsu Motegi is a member of the House of Representatives belonging to the Liberal Democratic Party and currently serves as  Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan. He graduated from the University of Tokyo earned his Master’s Degree from Harvard University in the U.S. He has served as Chairman of Policy Council of the LDP; Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry; Minister in charge of Economic Revitalization; and Minister in charge of Social Security Reform. He assumed the current position in September 2019.
