KIMURA Koichiro

PwC Japan Group Chairman since July 2016 and PwC Asia Pacific Vice Chairman since July 2019, Koichiro Kimura has extensive experience with US and Japanese standard financial statement audits. His primary areas of expertise are technology, entertainment, and maritime transport companies.
During his assignment at PwC US Chicago office, he focused on audits of automobile companies. He also engaged in accounting system implementation projects. In addition to XBRL Japan marketing activities, he was a committee member on XBRL with the JICPA for three years.
Koichiro is a trustee of the Japan Association of Corporate Executives, and also a member of the GraSPP (Graduate School of Public Policy) Advisory Board and GraSPP International Advisory Board at the University of Tokyo.
